Harris Stays Silent on the Trumps
In her caption, Harris praised Carter’s legacy:
“President Jimmy Carter loved our country. He lived his faith, served the people, and left the world better than he found it. President Carter’s many contributions will echo for generations to come.”
She didn’t mention Trump at all. This omission only fueled speculation, especially given her history as Biden’s running mate in the 2024 election—an election where she faced off directly against Trump.

First lady Jill Biden and second gentleman Doug Emhoff also attended. However, Michelle Obama was absent. Her office gave no explanation.
