Andrea’s youngest son, Matteo, is rapidly becoming as well-known as his father. He is currently busy marketing his first solo album and releasing several tracks and videos online at the early age of 24. When Virginia, his younger sister, duetted with her father on Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” during a live-streamed Christmas concert at the beginning of lockdown, she became an international phenomenon. She now often goes on stage with her father, as does Matteo. Amos, their other sibling, is also a gifted musician, although he would rather remain anonymous.
Amos has a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano, but he also studied and pursued a career in spatial engineering. But he also frequently contributes to his father’s albums and occasionally takes the stage with him.
However, he was collaborating with Matteo on Tempo’s new song and music video this time. In a recent Instagram post, Matteo publicly honored his older brother and posted a heartwarming photo of the two of them.
Matteo wrote: “I want to express my gratitude to the entire crew for their excellent work! And most importantly, my brother Amos Bocelli, who never fails to cheer me up and support me!

The picture depicts the two of them cuddling and beaming broadly. At 27, Amos is three years Matteo’s senior.
Both come from Andrea’s previous marriage, which ended in 2002 after 20 years with Enrica Cenzatti. In the same year, the well-known tenor began dating Veronica Berti again.
Prior to their 2014 marriage, their daughter Virginia was born in 2011.
The whole family, who all reside and work in the same area of Lucca in northern Italy, is quite close.
Although Andrea’s father, Alessandro, passed away in 2000, his mother, Edi, and younger brother, Alberto, remained in the family’s original Tuscan house outside of Pisa.
Just this weekend, the family announced the loss of Edi Bocelli.
In a moving message on Andrea’s Instagram, it said: “It is with great sorrow that our staff announces the passing of Mrs. Edi Aringhieri Bocelli, Andrea’s mother. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones and all of us. She left her earthly home after a long, extraordinary life to join her beloved husband, Sandro, in Heaven. All our hearts are with Andrea and Veronica, Alberto and Cinzia, and the entire Bocelli family at this time.”

The announcement added: “For those wishing to pay tribute to Edi’s memory, any donations to the ABF or another charitable institution shall be a flower – not cut, but living – to help celebrate her memory, for which we are grateful.”
