Kelly Clarkson Sings Holiday Classic
Kelly Clarkson brought the holiday spirit to life with a stunning rendition of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
She performed the classic track during a recent episode of her daytime talk show as part of her regular Kellyoke segment, where she covers a mix of popular songs from all genres.
Clarkson is no stranger to Christmas music, having released two holiday albums of her own in the past.
Her music collection includes Wrapped in Red (2013) and When Christmas Comes Around (2021). Both albums have her singing popular holiday songs and a few original Christmas tracks she wrote herself.
Additionally, she released a brand new original song in September called “You for Christmas.”
Earlier this month, Clarkson hosted NBC’s annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center for the second year in a row.
During the event, an all-star lineup of performers took the stage, including Jennifer Hudson, Little Big Town, The Backstreet Boys, Dan + Shay, and more. Clarkson also took a break from her hosting duties to perform her new holiday song and “Underneath the Tree.”
Most recently, she returned to The Voice stage to perform her festive song “You for Christmas” during the show’s season 26 finale.
For her cover of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” fans were amazed by Clarkson’s ability to effortlessly belt out the ballad live, making it uniquely her own.
“Just casually being the best singer on the planet, every day,” a fan wrote in the videos comment section.
“I don’t believe that there is any other artist that could blend this level of ease, belting these kinds of notes, and still somehow come across tastefully subtle.. Kelly Clarkson is a legend and nobody can tell me otherwise,” another said.
“I have run out of words to describe how much joy her voice brings me. Thank you Kelly,” added another.
