CORRECTION: Jeff Bezos has since spoken out to deny the claims made by sources who alleged they had information about his wedding. You can find our more recent coverage here.
Sources have revealed alleged details surrounding Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ wedding to Lauren Sánchez.
The business magnate and Emmy Award-winning journalist first started dating in 2019, before news broke of their engagement in May 2023.
After 25 years of marriage, Bezos announced his divorce from MacKenzie Scott – with who he shares four children – in a statement shared to his Twitter account in January 2019.
The post read: “We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other and deeply grateful for every one of the years we have been married to each other. If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all again.
“Though the labels might be different, we remain a family, and we remain cherished friends.”
It was also reported in the same year Sánchez was divorcing from Hollywood agent husband Patrick Whitesell after 13 years together – the pair sharing two children together and Sanchez with a son from a previous relationship too.
Sources later came forward confirming Sánchez and Bezos were dating and while the pair were spotted out and about together, they didn’t publicly comment on their relationship until 2021, when Sánchez took to Instagram to wish Bezos luck on the launch of his aerospace company Blue Origin.
In the same year Bezos jokingly responded to a viral clip of Sánchez meeting Leonardo DiCaprio.
In 2023, Sánchez told WSJ Magazine she and Bezos ‘love to be together’ and ‘love to work together’ and in May 2023 news of their engagement broke – sources since having come forward with an insight into the pair’s upcoming nuptials allegedly set to be held on December 28.

Three sources told the Mail Online the alleged date of the ceremony, with another source saying the couple have also hired out Japanese and sushi restaurant Matsuhisa in Aspen, Colorado for two days prior to the celebration.
The actual ceremony is suspected as taking place at luxury retreat Dunbar Ranch.
One source told the outlet the wedding is anticipated as costing an estimated $600 million – and well, given Bezos’ net worth of $244 billion as per Bloomberg, it’s not exactly like he couldn’t afford that.
Aspen events planner Janie Lemons also has certain theories ahead of the couple’s big day.

She hypothesizes the couple ‘outsource[d] pretty much everything except transportation and lighting’ and those involved likely had to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
However, the sources’ claims are yet to be confirmed. UNILAD has contacted Jeff Bezos’ representatives for comment.
