CMA Country Christmas will air on ABC on December 3, and it will also be available for streaming on Disney+ and Hulu starting December 4.

This year’s Christmas concert features a performance from Cody Johnson, who just took home the CMA Awards’ 2024 Album of the Year award. The show also features performances from Ashley McBryde, Jon Pardi, and many other country greats!

The CMA Country Christmas concert began in 2010 and is celebrating its 15th year this season. According to the official website, the concert “rings in the holiday season annually with a night filled with festive classics and unique musical performances.” Given the performances of the evening, this statement couldn’t be more true.

Yearwood and Grant once again took the stage with a magical rendition of “Sing Your Praise to the Lord.” This song was originally written by Rich Mullins and later featured on Grant’s breakthrough album, Age to Age.

Grant has risen to fame in the gospel music scene, earning six Grammy Awards and 22 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. In 2006, she was also honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The first chorus of “Sing Your Praise To The Lord” goes:

“Sing your praise to the Lord!
Come on everybody, stand up and sing one more “hallelujah”!
Give your praise to the Lord!
I can never tell you just how much good that it’s gonna do you just to…”

The joyful and lively song encourages all believers to sing their praises to the Lord, which is perfect for this Christmas season. Yearwood and Grant opened the program with the song, kicking it off a stunning and festive fashion.
