Yearwood and Grant performed individually and as a duo. Grant delivered a solo performance of her own Christmas song, “Tennesee Christmas,” while Yearwood sang a Christmas medley.
Together, the pair performed Grant’s original song “Sing Your Praise to the Lord” and the beloved Christmas classic “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town.”
The original sheet music for “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town” was published in 1934. Now, 90 years after its release, the song is a holiday staple that’s been covered by artists such as Bing Crosby, Michael Bublé, The Jackson 5, and Frank Sinatra.

Yearwood and Grant followed in these artists’ footsteps by covering “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town” on the 2024 CMA Country Christmas special.
In a fitting end to the program, Yearwood and Grant closed out the special with the song. Their upbeat performance ended with a surprise appearance from the jolly old man in red—Santa Claus! The entire crowd soared to their feet as soon as Santa arrived.
Fittingly, the show that aired next on ABC after CMA Country Christmas was the 1970 holiday film Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town.
