Angelina Jolie’s comments about her on-screen experience with Denzel Washington might leave her former partners feeling a bit out of sorts.
The acclaimed actor didn’t hold back when she shared that the ‘best sex’ she’s ever had was with Washington, albeit in a cinematic context.

At 48, Jolie’s illustrious career has seen her feature in a myriad of films, crossing paths with numerous actors along the way.It was in the 1999 thriller, “The Bone Collector,” directed by Phillip Noyce and based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel of the same name, where she had the opportunity to work closely with Washington.
In this gripping crime thriller, Jolie stars as police officer, Amelia Donaghy, who is desperately trying to track down a serial killer that leaves a disturbing calling card at each crime scene.The card you may ask? Well, that’s a bone which has been extracted from each victim.
Faced with a challenging investigation, Amelia seeks assistance outside her usual circle.Assistance arrives in the form of Lincoln Rhyme, a forensics expert portrayed by Washington, whose life was drastically altered by an accident leaving him paralyzed from the neck down.
Despite his physical limitations, Lincoln’s intellectual prowess remains unscathed, offering invaluable insights to help Amelia unravel the case.As the story unfolds, Amelia and Lincoln forge a profound connection, albeit not of a romantic nature.
Reflecting on their on-screen chemistry in an interview with Dark Horizons after the movie’s release, Jolie spoke highly of the dynamic between their characters, emphasizing the depth of their relationship.

“One fascinating aspect is the journeys these two characters embark on, and the deep relationship that evolves,” Jolie shared.She specifically highlighted a scene where Amelia uses her intellect and senses to seduce Lincoln as particularly memorable, describing it as the ‘best sex I ever had.’
“Seducing someone with your mind was a huge turn-on,” Jolie elaborated, capturing the essence of their interaction.Despite the exhilaration of working with Washington, Jolie described the overall filming experience as ‘lonely.’
She candidly expressed her struggles with the responsibility of leading a major film and the physical and emotional demands of her role as Amelia.“I went a bit nuts. From the beginning, I felt as if I was not capable of doing this, of leading a film and being responsible for this, of physically handling this, of saving a life and going in there and being a cop,” Jolie disclosed.

The actor said that starring in the flick ‘nearly drove her insane’ because her character ‘was so insane inside’.Jolie even felt that throughout this process she wasn’t “useful as a human being, or even a good person,” going on to add:
“It was just all those things by yourself: Am I good enough, am I worth anything, really, on a spiritual deep level? You start to get into those things and this is what she had to go through, and then get through it.”She added that the film “nearly drove me insane because she [her character] was so insane inside.”
Despite its intriguing premise and the efforts of its star-studded cast, “The Bone Collector” received mixed reviews, holding a score of 28 percent on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer and 6.7/10 on IMDb.
